Mailbag Day!

Several eagle-eyed readers pointed us to this creation. While it is not technically a commercially-available pattern, it is a first prize winner from a fiber arts competition. Ok, I can see that it's.....well, original.....but could the creator/model look any more depressed? And vaguely creepy, like an Amish woman with murderous tendencies?

This one was also sent by several readers. (We love you guys!) I think even my 8 year old niece would find this too childish and girly--and she's still in the ponies and rainbows stage. However, it was created by a man, for men. Yeah right, pal.

And am I the only one wondering what's happening outside the frame of this picture?
